THE PROFESSOR JAMES RASH AWARD – is an award given to a student who exhibits outstanding creativity, productivity, craftsmanship, and presentation in the areas of ceramics or sculpture. The award is given in honor of Professor James Rash who taught ceramics, art appreciation, drawing and painting for Gardner-Webb University from 1965-1980. The award recipients are Frank Alexander Stewart and Austin Tyler Myers.
