On Monday night, April 4th, Release the Captives kicked off Human Trafficking Awareness week by hosting a night of worship on the back patio of the Tucker Student Center.

Students, Austin Beasly, Rachael Zimmerman, Jacob Kirby, and Sarah Branch, led worship.
Many students came to support the cause and spent a night in prayer and worship.
On Wednesday, April 6th, Release the Captive hosted the TOMS Day without Shoes Event and decorated the campus.
GWU Club, Release the Captives, decorated the quad with blue streamers.
Benches, trees, light posts, etc. were covered with streamers.
Students braved the cold weather and went without shoes anyway supporting the cause.
Signs were posted around campus reminding students to take off their shoes.
