Beyond the Arch: Get to know a few of Gardner-Webb’s recent graduates, learn about their interesting careers, and hear about their GWU experiences in their own words.
Chris Meekins: A 2006 graduate of GWU, Chris works with Jamestown Associates in Washington D.C. as a Campaign Manager for Congressman Andy Harris.
Camille Palacio: Camille, a 2008 GWU grad, works on Capitol Hill for the Corporation for Enterprise Development, a non-profit corporation which works to expand economic opportunity for American citizens.
Austin Campbell: After receiving recognition as GWU’s “Most Outstanding Male Graduate” in May of 2007, Austin moved on to complete his Master’s in Theological Studies from Harvard in 2010, and is now planning to enter medical school.
Ashley Lowery: Since graduating from Gardner-Webb in 2007 with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, Ashley has been studying at UNC Chapel Hill to be a dentist.
David Merryman: David, another product of GWU’s science program, works for the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation as an advocate for the protection and enhancement of the Catawba River.
Matt Mollozzi: A former GWU soccer player and a 2008 grad, Matt works on Capitol Hill on staff for Congressman Geoff Davis of Kentucky.
